This faction represents the Underworld of the Mesopotamian Religions. It is an amalgam of deities, demons and strange creatures alike. The Mesopotamian Underworld was a place where a lot of strange things happened and where heroes were forged. In Natios, this faction is played with the "Gates of the Underworld", powerful ambushes that can win you the game if you are able to play them all. It is also a control deck, where most of your units can steal your opponent's units.

*The Mesopotamian Demon cards can be found in the Awakening of the World and in the Duals in the Sand sets.

Strengths:

 - Your Soldier have a lot of keywords, making them difficult to be countered

 - The Gates are powerful and very versatile. They have a lot of different effects

 - Your cards can easily steal your opponent's soldiers and heroes, which will remove potential treats.

Weaknesses:

 - Your heroes won't have a lot of protection and they are really expensive, making them easy targets

 - Few diversity for a faction. Not a lot of Cities, technologies and Strategies are designed to work with this faction

 - Coal and Faith are Resources with a lot of counters and cancels, since they are involved in a lot of different factions.
